taking a risk by staying at home today in hope that i will get some work done. sucks that most people are having school holidays already.. less people to study with. tempted to load more songs into the ipod from CDs and to rearrange all the new pictures but i know it'll take me eons. hmm falling sick. sore throat, cough, phlegm. couldn't have chosen a better time than now.
anyways there was a halloween storytelling at borders yesterday, the girls are adorable! this was my favourite, the scarecrow song, sung to "sing a song of sixpence".
can you guess who we are?
scarecrows all are we
aren't we just the scariest
goblins to be seen?
we can look so sour
we can look so mad
we can scare most anyone
and that makes us so glad
ooh i like this one too. jack-o'-lantern song sung to "oh, christmas tree".
we jack-o'-lanterns march along
though all the night is darkness
we smile as brightly as we can
to scare whoever passes
oh we can jump and we can scream
but it's our smile that is so mean
we look this way and then look that
we even scare the old black cat
happy haunting halloween! : )
